1.6L Ti-VCT Duratec® I-4 Engine
With 120 horsepower and 112 lb.-ft. of torque, the standard 1.6-liter twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) Duratec® I-4 engine is engineered for quick sprints. The engine block is high-pressure die-cast aluminum for strength and light weight. Twin independent variable cam timing allows the camshafts to operate both intake and exhaust valves at different times in the combustion cycle, based on speed and load. And to further lessen weight, the intake manifold is manufactured from a composite.
Super Fuel Economy (SFE) Package
When equipped with the SFE Package, the Fiesta SE hatch and sedan can get up to 40 hwy mpg.2 The SFE Package has cruise control, a spoiler and 15-inch steel wheels, plus aerodynamic features that help minimize air resistance such as side air deflectors, underbody shields and blockers on the lower grille.
Dynamic Ride and Handling: standard
Features such as electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) and AdvanceTrac® ESC contribute to overall intense driving experience in the Fiesta. EPAS uses speed-sensitive steering and active nibble control technology to help provide feedback and confidence at highway speeds. AdvanceTrac® ESC39 automatically applies the brakes and modulates engine torque whenever it detects wheelslip. Skidding and fishtailing are avoided by controlling understeer and oversteer. Additionally, AdvanceTrac® ESC helps maintain control under conditions such as ice, gravel or rain, providing confident stopping power.
Available PowerShift™ Six-Speed Automatic
It's about performance, it's about fun. The available class-exclusive* dual dry-clutch PowerShift™ six-speed automatic delivers performance and fuel efficiency** similar to a manual transmission plus the shift quality and ease of operation provided by an automatic transmission. Engine torque is delivered to the drive wheels 100 percent of the time for an extra-connected feel. Hill start assist provides improved drivability on steep inclines. Ford-Tuned Suspension
With a standard MacPherson-strut front suspension, 22mm front sway bar and twist-beam rear suspension, the 2012 Fiesta is ready to deliver excitement around every corner. Its standard electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system is Ford-tuned to offer refined overall driving dynamics. It works with a software-based technology called active nibble control - a Ford proprietary invention - to actively detect and minimize undesirable rotational vibration experienced by drivers, particularly while driving at highway speeds. Message Center
The standard four-inch multifunctional display with LCD screen is strategically positioned high up on the instrument panel, directly in your sight line and easily within reach. The red-colored text on the display also makes it highly readable. Ambient and Exterior Lighting
Dragon's-eye headlamps, pure-white available lower LED supplemental park lamps and side-mirror turn indicators create a glow that surrounds the Fiesta. Available ambient lighting illuminates the interior with color, in both the front and rear footwells. It also lights the cupholders, which makes them easier to locate when you're driving at night. The driver or front-seat passenger can select from one of seven colors: red, blue, purple, orange, aqua, white or yellow-green. The choice is yours.
Heated Leather-Trimmed Front Seats

Easy Fuel® capless fuel filler
Fiesta has no gas cap to leave your hands dirty and smelly. The standard class-exclusive* Easy Fuel® capless fuel filler features an integrated spring-loaded door that allows you to simply insert the fuel nozzle to fill up. And because Easy Fuel® automatically seals after the fuel nozzle is removed, fewer evaporative emissions are released into the environment.
Seven standard airbags
The Fiesta comes with seven standard airbags* and is the first in its class to offer a driver's knee airbag.** This airbag inflates between the driver's knees and the instrument panel to help provide protection in a crash. Extending through both rows of seats are also side-curtain airbags. They feature roll-fold technology, which is designed to inflate between the window glass and passenger's head. This helps keep the curtain against the glass and offers head protection in side impacts for all outboard seating positions. In fact, when combined with the front-seat side airbags, the side-curtain airbags help provide protection for both head and chest in certain side-impact collisions. Side-curtain airbags will not interfere with a properly installed child safety seat or booster seat.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System
The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System in Fiesta notifies you via a message on the instrument panel when you need to add air to your tires. Excludes spare tire.
Integrated Blind-Spot Mirrors
The integrated blind spot mirrors help reduce rear-vision blind spots where you could possibly not see vehicles. These convex mirrors are included in the traditional exterior sideview mirror design.
AdvanceTrac® ESC
